Meeting Industry Standards

When you use Franks Forestry you are getting the best, in regards to a passion for ensuring our clients properties and trees are kept in excellent condition. This is supported by our meeting, and often surpassing, stringent accreditation guidelines from leading arboricuture associations in the UK and worldwide.

Here at Franks Forestry we pride ourselves on providing high quality services to our customers. We believe the high proportion of repeat and regular customers we have reflects our high regard for good customer service. This starts with the initial communications and site visit and the fast turnaround on our quotes, through to the follow up discussions to ensure customers are fully satisfied with our work.

Part of the way we demonstrate our commitment to customer service is through our becoming an approved arboricultural contractor accredited through the Arboricultural Association. This highly regarded accreditation is often the benchmark which commercial businesses utilise when looking for competent and professional tree work contractors. To gain and maintain our accreditation under the approved contractor scheme we are externally audited by the Arboricultural Association appointed assessor every two years. The assessment takes 2 days to complete.

The Arboricultural Association is over 50 years old and is the main industry association in the UK.

Customers can find more information about the scheme criteria and our approval listing on the Arboricultural Association.

As part of the biannual assessment process the external assessor must visit active work sites and see demonstrations of operational activities completed by our work teams. The assessor also assesses our workshop, yard and store areas. They also assess Jon on his arboricultural knowledge whilst he takes the assessor around a number of completed pruning jobs so they can check to ensure consistent high quality tree works are being maintained.

The assessment also includes checks to health, safety and environmental good practice compliance. This includes the work teams assessments for wildlife issues are completed before any and all work operations start. They also check that biosecurity controls, to ensure pests and diseases are not spread further as a result of our works, are being undertaken.
